International Women's Day - March 8

In many countries of the world International Women's Day is celebrated as a holiday. It is not big in the USA, but in European and Asian counties it is a holiday bigger than Mother's Day and Christmas combined. Where this holiday is celebrated, if you are a male and forget your wife or girlfriend or business associate you might as well hang up your spurs! You are black listed! Sleep on the couch! The UN strongly supports International Women's Day. Many facts about the holiday and how it came into are contained in the UN link as well as this reference in Wikipedia.
