As indicated in a previous post, every person operates in life as a result of the cognitive map which has developed in the person's thinking process. Speaking of us the Bible says: "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he..." (Proverbs 23:7). How true that statement is. We will stick just to the thought part for now.
The thinking style each person has defines the kind of person s/he is. It is not by accident, for example, that some people are more gentile and some are more aggressive. Yes...the geneticists will say that it is due to the genes, and there is likely genetic input, but it is the manner in which we each learn to think that has a powerful influence upon upon our thoughts, feelings, behavior, and attitudes.
But how do we learn?
