Do You Talk To Yourself?

Do you talk to yourself? There are a multitude of websites which suggest that "self-talk" is a beneficial way to improve your self-esteem, assuming you say nice things to yourself. Do a Google search on talk to yourself and see what you find. When I was a boy, it was popular to believe that if you talked to yourself and then answered yourself, the fellows in the white coats will come, put you into the nut house, and throw away the key. Whatever!!!

I talk to myself...all the time. And I answer myself! Why, you ask? Two reasons: First, I am the only one I believe. I do not think the rest of the world has a clue about what I need. Second, and more important, I am the only one I trust. Why am I going to put my life in the hands of some Bozo who knows nothing about me? The problem with Bozos is that they "believe" they know it all and especially know what you or I need. And they can be VERY convincing about what they "know." That is the definition of a Bozo: Persons who think they know what they really do not know!
Do not misunderstand. I listen to other's thoughts....much of which is dribble...but I listen. even to the Bozos. Every now and then a gem pops out of their mouth, but....

Get a life. Trust yourself...Listen, but follow your heart.
