Meet the Family

You got kids? Excuse me: Children? (My dad, rest his soul, said "kids" are baby goats and children should not referred to as baby goats!) I have six kids (four boys, two girls) and ten grandchildren! Your kids ever try your soul? Do not lie...yes, they have. And those of you who are yet to have kids, get ready!

My children were/are actually all great people, must have taken after their mother. But they had their moments. One of them could sell ice cubes to Eskimos! Another would have been in Debtor's Prison had there been such a place. Debt to siblings his whole childhood career. Another was a Tech-Weenie before there were such people officially. He put the high school computers on the map. Another was a world class Hacker, but thankfully he never attempted FBI files or other such private stuff. The girls were each more emotional effort to raise than all four boys put together. One of them could not boil water without burning it. The first grilled cheese sandwich she made for me when she was in college looked like road kill. The other girl, the clan caboose, is probably the most mentally stable one of the bunch.

The Tech-Weenie now write computer programs. The Debtor now has more money than CalTrans (California Dept of Transportation--more money than most banks.) The salesman is now a lawyer. The water burner is now a gourmet cook. The Hacker is teaching old people how to figure out their PC. And the Caboose, though the youngest, has the uncanny knack of holding her siblings together. Funny how kids become the adults they once were as children.

So, tell us about your kids....errr....children.
