Today the bank that holds my car loan called me three times (YES...1.....2....3) asking me when I would be able to make a payment? I am only five days late and I have never missed a payment or been seriously late. Five days and three calls! Yesterday was one call. I am aquiver with anticipation to see how many calls I receive tomorrow...when I am six days late....maybe I will wait out to 20 days to pay. I can see the newspaper headlines now: Bank Melts Phone Lines Calling Recalcitrant Debtor.
