From Down Under

A friend of mine just returned from vacation in Australia and New Zealand. Among other things he told that many kangaroos are hit by vehicles down under, just like many deer are hit in the USA. In the states we call a hit deer "road kill." Down under they call a hit kangaroo "wasaroo." Just thought you might want some international cultural information.
