Time For Stories

Do you recall how it was before it is now? I graduated high school in 1962. I remember the so called "good ol' days." At least they were the Good Old Days for my generation. There were good circumstances in those days, but there are also good circumstances in these days. It is time for me to remember the "good ol' days" on this blog. Time to remember the good things that were, even though we lacked the good things that are! My first TV was a round 8" black and white screen. My brothers and I thought we were in Seventh Heaven as we watched the cowboys riding across the screen on slow plow horses in "hot" pursuit of the bad guys. What a thrill! My first bicycle was a Japanese built (shades of vehicles to come?) with mechanically operated hand brakes....way ahead of the times. One afternoon on my way home from school I was saved from the local bully by a girl (no wonder I never had an official date until college). My first kiss.....ooooooohh...sweet Leeann!!!!! That is a moment to savor! I will write these and other stories as time goes along. Come with me on a journey through the "Good Ol' Days."
