| Here we are in the middle of an economic depression which some say will be worst than the one in the 1930s before it is over. The federal government's plan to get us out of this economic mess is to spend lots of money (estimates range from eight hundred million to three trillion). One wonders what will occur to the social and vocational fabrics of society with all this spending. One also wonders from whence comes all this money...the US printing press? Perhaps some wisdom from President Lincoln would be appropriate for guidance. | ![]() |
