What does James Bond have in common with Senator Arlen Specter from Pennsylvania? Perhaps not much in reality, but it struck me interesting in several of the James Bond books/movies the apolitical criminal organization intent upon controlling the whole world was SPECTRE, which stood for: SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion. Switch hitter, Senator Specter (switching from the Democratic Party to the Republican and back again) has an eerily sounding name. Humm....One Wonders.... (Our new president wants to control the world.)
