Why Do People Have Problems?

WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS IN LIFE?

Why do we have problems, be they physical or mental? Yes, for one reason it is the luck of draw. We all have certain genes which are given us at inception. These genes interact to produce certain outcomes and these outcomes interact with the social circumstance in which we live to result in who we are. Some believe God gives us certain problems; others believe problems occur by chance or by result of genes and social circumstance. Take your pick. You decide which reason (or reasons) result in the problems of life. For this writing I do not care which you believe. The fact is, everyone has problems of one sort or another. But why? What purpose do these problems serve, if any?

I opine problems are necessary in order to become human! Problems are necessary in order for us to become the person we are, whether good or bad. Many personality theorists state that if a person does not have problems, obstacles, challenges in life, then the person will not develop a fully functional personality. PROBLEMS TEACH US that which we need to know. Whether you choose to believe God gives each person problems specific to that person's individual needs or whether you choose to believe problems come by the luck of the draw, the fact remains that without problems to solve and overcome; without the need to be 'healed', a person would not develop their potential.
