OK. So I think we are moving to a binary or medieval society. What is wrong with that? Still, the rich are helping the poor–right? Maybe, but more likely, the poor are helping the wealthy become more affluent. How does that work? Let’s see. The poor are the cannon fodder in the rich person’s army, the poor work the gardens and living spaces of the rich, all with little or no pay. Additionally, the poor are told what they can and cannot do (whether by command or government edict). The life of the poor works to keep then in control and poor, while ‘their betters’ (as the British call the rich and powerful) remain in control, maintain power, and keep the bulk of the resources and money. The middle ages was a binary society, but that began to change around the fourteenth or fifteenth century. Changes began that led to a strong middle class.
